"We had an overall great stay at Princes Street Suites, with the location being the biggest highlight. The starting point (Stop 1) for all of the hop-on, hop-off bus tours is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing around Edinburgh. The apartment-style accommodations were well equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the option for a late checkout, which made our departure much less stressful. "This was a really cute aparthotel. Easy to find with the directions they gave and in a cute neighborhood. Close access to the tram and a ton of restaurants, plus the shopping mall is about a 5 minute walk away. Having laundry in the room was super helpful and the washer worked great. The only downside was that one of the blinds would not go the full way down and in the summer when the sun sets at 11pm it could make it difficult for people to fall asleep/ stay asleep."

"I just love staying here! It’s the second time I’ve stayed at the Thistle Suites / Royal Garden Apartments and I have to say: staff at the front desk is just amazing. They’re friendly, welcoming and so helpful every time. The location is very convenient and you get everything you need in a few minutes walk. "Really friendly and efficient team who communicated regularly before and throughout our stay. Apartment spotless with everything you need. Tiny niggles - would benefit from additional lighting outside the entrance to the building . Sockets not near the mirrors so not ideal for those who use a hairdryer and straighteners. Bedside lamps weren’t charged but plenty other lightening so not an issue. These really are tiny niggles and we would definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh....

Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Amazing location right in the heart of everything. We could explore Edinburgh and its beautiful historical buildings and return back to an apartment with the same vibes but with modern amenities. Price is high in that area of town as a whole but this was one of the lower cost...
