"The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am."

"Fantastic stay. Stayed many times in a snug pod for business maybe 15 times a year. Tried a cabin for first time because the price was cheaper than normal. Amazing, shame its too expensive to do more often. Only downside was the wifi was hit and miss but overall very good"

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Excellent location, can walk to most sites or transportation within a few blocks. Easy access to get to the flat. Grocery stores within a block in a few different directions. Lots of restaurants close by too. The place is very clean, good size, and is updated. Has a fridge, stove top, oven, microwave and washing machine. No dryer but they have a drying rack in the closet that we used and our clothes dried over night. Only bad thing is the WiFi is not the greatest and is spotty or very slow most...

"This is an amazing space with good connection to many attractions. Beautiful setting in the country with great views, ponds of swans, and short distance to restaurants. We had a bit of trouble with the heat and plumbing but the owner was quick to check it out. "

"The property is brilliant the castle is amazing. The owners are very friendy and encourage you to walk to grounds which is beautiful. Was very happy with our stay. The location is ideal 20 min drive to Edinburgh 30 min drive to coldstream/kelso to explore the boarders."

"Mixed feelings overall. The block was in easy quick reach to Haymarket train station and only a 20-25 min walk to the centre of Edinburgh so location was great. Hiwever, the reception is not in the main apartment block. Its around a 100 meters further up the road. So after a long train journey and in wet weather a further travel up and down the road for check in grated a little for me but check in itself was OK. The apartment was easy to access via stairs or lift and was spacious. We were at...
