"Bon choix, n’hésitez pas"

"Fijne bedden en goed ontbijt"

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles. Breakfast was simply outstanding — the most delicious we had...

"Besides the location is next the train station, some noise when trains come and go. The AC is not working and we need to open the window. Thanks for the weather is not such hot during our stay. The parking underground is hard to park a full size SUV, struggling to squeeze in."

"This hotel is located about 20 minutes from Amboise on a large piece of property! It has an old well kept main building where breakfast and dinner are offered along with rooms. We stayed in the garden suites * Mimoasa and it was spacious with a king size bed. A fridge would have been nice as would a safe but apparently they are being included in the upgrade. Given that there is no convenience store or grocery near by the fridge would be very useful. The pool was lovely and we played golf on the...

"Séjour parfait, seul regret, ne pas y avoir séjourné plus longtemps! Nous nous souviendrons de la gentillesse des hôtes, le confort de la chambre et le sublime petit déjeuner."

"The couple ( Corine and Pascal ) that own this location are great hosts. They served a nice included breakfast with fresh baked goods. There are a few considerations for this property. Try to get a room on floor 0 ( US floor 1 ) because the room I stayed in on the 1st floor ( US floor 2 ) could challenge those with mobility problems. Also the on property parking is a tight squeeze, someone with a caravan will take time to get parked. Parking is not a show-stopper, just something to be aware of....

"Das Zimmer Peintre hat uns sehr gut gefallen, alles war sehr sauber und das Bad war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Bettlaken und -kissen waren sehr sauber und die herzliche Gastgeberin hat uns ein herrliches Frühstück bereitet. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!"

"Lontano dalla citta’ per riconciliarsi con la natura e con se stessi"

"I cannot say enough good things about our stay. It is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful location for enjoying the Loire Valley. Alex goes above and beyond. The breakfast was the best we ever had."

"What an exceptional stay! It was perfect! Authentically French! Richard and Sophie have updated this chateau to a warm, cozy and inviting accommodation, paying attention to every detail. From the beautiful landscape and the history of the home to the home grown gardens to the charming pets, large and small, it just does not get any better. Richard is the perfect host from a exquisite French breakfast every morning, then helping us to plan our day and generously making the perfect dinner...

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte...

"Architecture très originale Lit très confortable Mélange modernité et tradition"

"The room was great, the breakfast, the location convenient, and the overall experience, including wine tasting was amazing. The only suggestion would be to add night time curtains on the windows facing the access road as the street light was penetrating the regular curtains at night."

"Beautiful grounds, welcoming staff, delicious dining!"
