"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "

"We had a wedding in Newcastle and decided to stay in the Avoca that night. I rang in advance to see if we could perhaps get an early check in to suit the early wedding and this was accommodated no problem. The hotel itself lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful also. If we’re back that way again we’ll definitely stay again."

"The history, cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff; all combined to impress me from check-in to check-out. I slept soundly in a large comfortable bed and in the morning they served me a choice of a big vegetarian or meat-lover’s breakfast. Simply superb! Well done to the team at Kilmorey Arms Hotel ! "Had an absolute fantastic stay at the Briers, Darren and his staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful! The room was spotless, very comfortable, gorgeous views of the garden and surrounding landscape as well. Breakfast was delicious and very well laid out , with loads of choice ! Excellent all round, would have no hesitation in recommending the Briers as a place to stay! "
