"Huge comfortable bed and room. Separate dressing room with ample clothes and suitcase storage. Big bathroom. Lovely interesting beach. Fine sand and separate rocky areas. Nice pool & enough sunbeds. Couple of nice restaurants either side but one played loud music until 10.30-11pm. I would go back."

"The view was seriously amazing but everything else was pretty bad. They really need to update their rooms and clean them. There was a hole in ceiling which caused a 10 in long gecko to come into our room along with many little ones. There was no bedding other than a simple sheet on the bed. I would recommend staying there only if the price is cheap and you are in backpacker mode."

"We had a lovely stay at Nirvana. Our room was beautiful and spacious, overlooking the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool is lovely and the swim up bar was great fun. There are paddleboards available for free use throughout the day. We organised a snorkelling trip and airport transfer through the hotel and they were very helpful with organising these. We also rented a scooter from the hotel which was a great way to see the island. Breakfast was tasty and in a beautiful setting...

"Our stay at Lanta Miami was bliss. This is such a peaceful place and fantastic for a 3 star resort. We had a family beach bungalow and it was spacious with 2 king beds. Daily cleaning was really appreciated. The pool area does need a bit of updating but there’s so much shade and the pool is kept so clean. Being right on the beach was wonderful. "We booked this hotel for six nights and checked out after one night, forfeiting nearly $1,000 in non-refundable charges in order to salvage our family vacation.
