"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less!The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"The road leading to the place needs a lot of work! And the cabin could use some signs to make it stand out as there is 3 cabins and luckily the neighbors helped us find it… it’s next to another…the metal poles need reflectors or a bright paint so you can see them in the dark made it dangerous… there isn’t really a driveway for this cabin to make it stand out if there was the neighbors next door parked in it…the property has a lot of good potential but just needs a little work. "Ok, so giving a four in most areas. The location was great. But upon pulling in a parking spot had glass in it like a car was broken into. Made us nervous. Then when checking in you have to pay $5 for parking! What else other option is there? Park at whataburger and then get your car towed. So pay parking fee but no security. I’d understand if there was a parking garage but a parking lot for your residence! That’s ridiculous! The hallway carpet was filthy made us nervous for what rooms were going to be. But the rooms were very clean. Bathroom shower could be cleaned a little better. Hair from a previous guest was in the shower! The staff answered questions but just seem like they didn’t want to be there. Overall stay was nice but if you have to pay parking to stay there and no security. That just makes no sense!!! I won’t stay there again simply because of that! Not that $5 is to much it’s just the principle of it."

"The hotel was built in 1984. So, it looks like a 1984 high end luxury hotel. The room was huge even with a King bed. It has been modernized where there were USB ports for your phone. I slept so good in the comfy bed. A/C worked like a charm. Almost froze to death in the middle of the night. It was quiet. I didn’t hear another soul all night. It had a patio door you could use if desired. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. We were originally booked on the second floor but the receptionist said she could give us a room on the first floor if we wanted. We took her up on the offer because of my bad knees. There is no elevator BTW. The floors in the room were tile. I prefer carpet but it was fine. Shower was powerful. It had a fridge and microwave, coffee pot and a desk. I have paid twice what I paid for this room at other “modern” hotels that were small and with no more to offer than this room. There is nothing I didn’t like. I had my doubts at first but those doubts quickly evaporated. The hotel is in a great location. There are restaurants, gas stations and a rental car place across the street. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back if need be in the future."
