Old fashioned luxury

Old fashion but tidy and well maintained some really nice small touches that make it feel luxurious. It has everything you want here 3 malls within 10 minute walk and massage parlour and chemist next door don’t close until midnight :)

I checked in early November 2024 decided to stay longer than my anticipated time so I booked another nine days here and enjoying every day. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and is very quiet. Everyone in the hotel is amazing. The restaurant is amazing room service is amazing After I leave. I would probably come back here again and stay for a month or two thank you for the great service.

Kantary is not located in a tourist area so don’t expect anything like Silom or Sukhumvit in terms of vibe, restaurants etc. Which suited us just fine. It has its pro’s and con’s. It is conveniently located relative to the airport which was a key factor for us. The hotel itself is VERY dated. The whole feel of the place is very 1970’s/80’s. The room we had was a two bedroom spacious, give it that, but I think we were the first people that had stayed in it for a long time. The kitchen and parts of the room were a bit grotty but the bathrooms and beds were ok. I wouldn’t use the kitchen facilities to cook anything, and I wouldn’t sit on the sofa/chairs in the living room without a plastic sheet. Check in was efficient and staff polite without doing anything more than they needed. Be prepared to lug your own bags from your taxi to reception and your room as Theo’s guys must have been at lunch when we arrived. All in all, ok but we checked out the next day and moved to somewhere far more pleasant.
