"The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. "From the moment we walked into the reception we felt very welcome, the staff were amazing at check in amd through our stay, the apartment was has was amazing and had exactly what we needed for our stay, bedrroms, kitch and bathroom were sparkling, beds were comfy, the kids loved the park and the position of the holiday park was great, we could eaisly walk to the main street throuh town with all the shoppong stalls and food outlets, we highly recommend and definitely will be back. "Dog-friendly property but cabin we stayed at was not. Wasn’t clearly stated when booking, had to get a dog sitter since booking was non refundable. Cabin was dated, lots of road noise since cabin was 10 metres from the street. Would stay again for the convenience location but will book a bigger and newer cabin. Economy cabins are old and a bit beat up. Surprised dogs weren’t allowed when the cabin was in such poor conditions. "
