This is a good layover apartment, especially for groups. The owner is lovely and very helpful, with excellent communication. If you are there on a Wednesday, it's market night about 500m away with lots of options for dinner and a great experience. Otherwise there's a food outlet and a small shop to buy some snacks etc within 30m of the apartments. The owner can pick you up and drop you back at a cost that was cheaper than a taxi for three of us.

Very spacious and clean accommodation. Really friendly, helpful staff. Typical older style Malaysian building in expected condition with the usual wear & tear. Incredibly comfortable beds and quality linen. Definitely recommend the airport transfer - inexpensive and easier than a taxi. Hood food at restaurant. I would stay here again.

Cheap spacious apartment near KLIA

Very inexpensive 3 bedroom apartment not far from KL International Airport (KLIA). The owner Sazali offers a van pickup from and dropoff to the airport for a very fair MYR 40 each way. The apartment is spacious and has aircon in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, with ceiling fans in the rest of the place. Don't expect a 5 star apartment (if you want 5 star you go pay for it) but for the price this place is excellent. Located in a residential compound it has a pool, a convenience store and an outdoor (but under cover) restaurant serving delicious hot meals at dirt cheap prices (eg. nasi lemak for 5 MYR!!). There isn't much else in the area but this is a great place for a relaxing KL stopover.
