"Very disappointed with our stay at L'Arcada de Fares. We were expecting a quiet, authentic country experience, but the reality was the opposite. The apartment lacked basic comfort—the sheets smelled damp and moldy. The noise was also a major issue because the property sits right by the highway; sitting on the terrace meant staring at the road and listening to traffic noise. Additionally, guest comfort isn't prioritized when it comes to climate control, as the air conditioning settings are...

"Very good experience. Location is very nice, perfect for relax and enjoying the surrounding and villages. Staff super friendly."

"La chambre était convenable mais pas suffisamment insonorisée. Hôtel difficile d’accès venant de Perpignan."

"Nice clean property. Excellent staff."

"It’s a very beautiful property, completely renovated and modern. A car is needed if you stay there."

"Had an amazing stay. The staff were welcoming and the room was lovely with modern comforts in an old fashioned feel. And much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The location was very convenient for crossing the bridge in and out of town. Breakfast was solid and a great start to the day. Consider taking a walk up to the pool for a high up view of the area. All in all a great stay and value for the price."

"Excellent location with the most fantastic view from the rooftop terrace"

"Mejorar los baños, Bañera en la mía había como hongo negro en el piso en las esquinas."

"Better with a car as it's not good to walk up back to hotel after the old town attractions."

"The room wasn't fancy but it was spotless. A firm mattress and a nice, hot shower. The public areas are impressive, especially the rooftop bar. The best feature is the location, just a 3 minute walk to shopping and dozens of bars and restaurants. I would stay here again when next in Girona."

"Just a little more positive attitude from staff would have gone a long way to making the stay more pleasurable."
