"Lucky for Grab as we were not walking distance for food, ATM and convenience store. Short driving distance from train station. More locals staying at the hotel than tourists. Pool and restaurant hours changed with no warning! Plenty of options for breakfast menu but were unable to get a steamed rice for our young son and had to pay for bottled water. Our booking included arrival drink and when we asked the 2 bottles of free water and 2 x 3 in 1 coffee was the welcome drink apparently! Not sure that we would stay again at the Rex in Dong Hoi."

"The hotel suite was just amazing, the bed and bath was exceptional and so comfy, the staff were friendly and happy to help. Food and drink were also high quality. Ran out of some drinks tho. Inside spa the water could be cleaner, didn’t use it in the end. But the outside pool was lovely and much cleaner. "
