"Frankly, this was my worst hotel experience ever, in terms of expectations versus reality. I’ve stayed in many crummy hotels, that I expected to be crummy. And stayed in many excellent hotels, that I expected to be excellent. Never have I stayed at a hotel that I expected to be excellent, but turned out to be very crummy! Also, to put things into perspective, I have visited Philippines 25 times over the last 20 years and stayed in dozens of hotels around the country. We experienced many...

"My wife and I first visited Discovery Coron (then Club Paradise) in May 2013. 5 stars, nothing but praise at that time, for the facilities, staff, restaurant, and beaches. "First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost...

"Discovery Island Resort was incredible. The property was so chilled and tranquil. The room, pool, restaurant and the grounds were lovely and spotlessly maintained. But most of all the management and staff were wonderful. Toni and her team were always courteous and efficient...and made us feel welcome the whole time. Can't wait to stay there again. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay. Warren"

"Very pretty area. Definitely a great place if you just want to stay and not adventure out because town an attractions are a hour plus drive about 4,000 peso. I would also bring your own snacks an drink because you get one option"
