A great one night stay

Room was cozy and clean, decorated so cutely, and perfect for a one-night stay. It is close to Acadia, and a little farther from downtown bar harbor, which was a plus for us. Very quiet an quaint.

Such a mixed experience. We booked the room through Expedia, where we could not find information about the amenities. I called the staff there, who was very friendly over the phone, to confirm. Unfortunately she mistook my last name (Ha) for someone else (Hu) who rented a different unit, and thus gave wrong information. From our conversation we thought our place would have a kitchen, and thus brought a lot of food and cooking gear, which we could not use as the place only had a bedroom. Most critically however, was the fact that our unit (14)'s heater did not work. We woke up to freezing indoor temperature (measured with our unused meat thermometer at 50 F) due to inclement weather during our visit. In the morning we visited the front desk in person and she assured us that they would take a look at it. In the evening we came back to a cold room where the heater still did not work. That night the ambient temperature also got very cold, and needless to say we did not have a restful sleep to prepare ourselves for the drive back the next morning. While the room was clean, dust free, and the bed comfortable with great size, and the bathroom has good water pressure and temperature, we ultimately did not have a great time due to an essential feature of any bedroom being absent. While the staff is friendly, the issue was not resolved.

The owners were very sweet and attentive. They allowed us to stay an extra hour past their normal check out time. I would definitely stay there again. The only downfall is that the property sits beside a main road with a lot of traffic.

The cottage was very cute, very convenient. The owners are very nice and offer coffee in the morning in the office! Room was cute, clean and quiet. The only complain is that the shower was very tiny, but that’s it!! Loved my stay, thank you :)

The property was very cozy and cute, perfect if you're looking for a reasonable place to stay in Bar Harbor. The owners were very welcoming and gave us great advice about where to go around the island. The service is unbeatable as well and they go the extra mile to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. Also a very convenient drive to Acadia. Definitely would stay here again when we come back to Bar Harbor.
