"I am not angry early riser and appreciate breakfast until 10. And the food was great. The staff is super nice. There is a happy hour and free cookies in the afternoon. Very nice stay."

"The room we were originally given was dark and cave-like. The pool was out of service for the first two days of our stay. There was nothing to watch on the TV. We complained and were moved to another room that was better. Still nothing to watch on the TV. I have no idea what cable service they have, but it is terrible. We were promised that we would have one night refunded, but that never happened. My biggest issue came when the pool reopened and we found one of the doors was unlocked. HUGE...

"I love supporting privately owned businesses and seeing older properties upkept. The Buffalo Inn was super clean and well maintained. The owner was very polite and helpful. Perfect for my night in Canyon. I highly recommend staying here...."

"The hotel is under going a renovation. Staff was friendly and receptive. We couldn't tell if the hotel was open due to the renovation as we drove by. But other than that hotel was comfortable and quiet."

"The attendant was very helpful. We had booked a room we thought had a sofa sleeper. He was very kind and switched us without any trouble. Neighborhood is a little ruff but the place is clean and nice. Breakfast was somewhat lacking but everyone was fed."

"Room shows ware and tear. Toilet tank had crack top cover. Vanity sink has hole near drain. Room had an odor such that we needed to purchase room air freshener. Very minimal breakfast."

"It is a nice property. There was a small issue with the AC. It was very noisy and cooled the room very fast. That means that it was working loudly for a short time, turned off and started again and again. In addition, the room had a huge fridge that was also noisy. The breakfast area is very nice and the food was ok."

"Cheap hotel room. Was moved because room was not cleaned. New room's TV never worked right and had to call maintenance daily. Had to get bath towels from front desk. Kids screamed and yelled in pool until after 11 pm. Staff worked hard to remedy all issues. Rooms obviously very old, paint peeling etc. Breakfast was pathetic. Only a cook for eggs, loaf of bread, coffee and watered down juice."

"Check-in was perfect with a staff that was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with a lot of options for adults and children. Pool area was lovely and our granddaughter enjoyed it very much. Very nice place to stay and we will definitely be back!"

"Hotel was a little hard to find as it sits behind a Spark Hilton. There is a strip center and a Rudy’s barbecue on the frontage within walking distance from the hotel. Easy access to on and off the freeway good location from the big Texas steakhouse and the Cadillac Ranch."

"We arrived at the property to be told our Expedia reservation had been cancelled as they were overbooked. However, that had five rooms available if we wanted one, at a rate about $50 more. Very bad business practices by the management."
