"Aurelie and Pascal are simply the nicest people. Nothing is too much trouble, including making gluten free cake and providing gluten free bread for one of us and vegetarian for the other (we are not the easiest of guests!) We chose the simpler of the two rooms, and would definitely take the posher one next time, if only for the air conditioning, but they say they plan to install air-conditioning in the little room, they are well aware of the necessity, but there is an access problem for the...

"Our stay at Augustins 1261 Spa & Fitness was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. The property is rich in charm, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of calm and retreat right in the heart of Avignon. "Location in the countryside was perfect because of the easy drive to all the interesting towns and sights. There is only one room for guests, and therefore, it is very private. The outdoor covered dining room was charming, It has all that is needed to prep a simple dinner. Breakfast was wonderful! The host and hostess were very kind and helpful. We will definitely return to this bead and breakfast."

"This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around. The star of the hotel, though, is the gentleman who oversees the property. He was incredibly kind and helpful, going out of his way to give recommendations, make reservations, and ensure the...
