"Room serviced every day to a good standard. Evening meals where good and the roast dinner was great value and very nice .Breakfast not included if not booked direct so was a bit of a surprise and £12.50 extra seems a bit steep when a short drive up the road is cafe 22 where a full English is only £5.50"

"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. I only ate at the hotel one evening but the salmon fillet was delightful. All of the staff were polite and friendly whilst remaining very professional. Nevan, in particular, was remarkably calm, professional and attentive in the face of multiple large coach-parties in addition to private guests, making him a true asset to the establishment. "Paid £50 to have my 2 small dogs stay with me for 1 night in a dog-friendly room. But then was told by reception staff that, because I booked through Expedia, I was not entitled to a water bowl or bed for them - which I would have been had I booked direct. Madness. Also not impressed with car parking - run by an ANPR company with hefty fines, even for hotel residents."
