It’s an old traditional building and as such can be rather dark. Our bedroom was especially dark with only one small window at the far end with staff washing hung outside."

Few electrical outlets, no cupboards or drawers for our clothes and poor lighting, but the heating worked and the shower was wonderful. The breakfast served was outstanding. This hotel is good value for the money."
