"The room we booked had 2 separate bedrooms and was an apartment facing the pool and bridge/ocean . It was beautiful and great for our family. The apartment was large, had balconies facing both directions, was well stocked with kitchen items and even had a washer/dryer.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Their breakfast and on-site restaurant was delicious.
It was about a 25-30 minute drive to the Lisbon city center. The town near the hotel had great restaurant options and a few supermarkets to choose from. Overall, I recommend this hotel for families."
"We had a wonderfull restful few days here. Rachael and her family were very kind and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure their guests were comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend a stay here to unwind and relax. The hotel is a little bit 'out of the way' so having a car would have made eating out and exploring the area a little easier but we managed fine with taxis which were cheap and readily available.."
"Ive stayed there many times over a 26 year period. Its always been very good. Rooms are excellent, spacious, clean, missed the minibar being stocked but thats all. Comfortable beds, heating/air con great, lovely fluffy bath towels, great power shower. Breakfast is truly excellent buffet, English and Continental. Evening meal was part of a package arranged for my friends who were with me, and 2 nights it was frankly inedible. The restaurant relented and let them have the á la carte on the last night, but this is the reason for my 4star rating. Also Breakfast on Wednesday, 3 coach loads of Japanese tourists came in just for breakfast. Ive never seen so many Japanese outside of Japan. For guests, getting even a cup of coffee took 30 mins and forget getting a table. So this was disappointing too. But overall very good value and nice to see restaurant manager Luis still there after 29 years! "
"Amazing place. Truly beautiful and tranquil. The whole facility was immaculate and very well looked after. Such a peaceful stay and a very warm welcome from the owners and team (Patrick) who could not have done anything more to make the stay perfect. "
