"My review of the property is coloured by the fact that I disliked Baru and my husband and I bith left with a stomach bug. The property is one of the better one's on the beach and at the top end so not quite as busy as the central part if the beach. The rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning. "We loved the modern look and design of the lobby and restaurant and pool area, and the location in Getsemani neighbourhood is great, with lively restaurants, bars and nightlife steps away. We also enjoyed the complimentary art class on the rooftop very much! As for the hotel itself, it was mediocre at best. The rooms are small and awkwardly designed with sink outside the bathroom and limited storage space. The bed was ok but the pillows were uncomfortable. The food was mediocre as well. There was a strong smell of sewage unfortunately. Overall, not somewhere we would visit again, though we loved the neighbourhood."
