"Couldn’t check in online as website kept crashing so long wait to check in on arrival although I have to say staff are very pleasant & efficient. Bed wasn’t made when we gained access to our room but was quickly sorted. Bed was small double (very small) but not the staffs fault. "

"Excellent hotel less than 5 minutes walk from the Minster Cathedral and all the main attractions.Hotel room spacious, clean, and smartly decorated. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Bed amd pillows a little too hard for my liking but were ideal for my husband. Didn't realise that if we had booked direct with the hotel we would have saved on the £10pn on the parking. "

"Awful hotel - in a poor state of repaIr and everything is chargeable inc. the so-called pool (actually more like a paddle pool!), even towels at the pool are charged at £2/towel! No hotel parking - buy a permit from the hotel at £10/permit or park at a nearby NCP car park for £6.50/day. Rooms are very basic with awful.views other than the sea view rooms - basic furniture, some mould in bathrooms and some cracked ceilingbtiles. Only good thing is the English breakfast and location by the sea."

"Very welcoming reception, lovely staff. Room very clean and all essentials there. Hotel itself clean, spaces, lovely surroundings. Breakfast was good, buffet with typical English breakfast, also healthy breakfast available, toaster and white/brown bread, no rolls. Maybe not for some, but Important for me, not variety of morning coffee (disappointing) just instant coffee + milk. In the evening restaurant serves a great meals, drinks and variety of coffee! That means the proper coffee machine is in the kitchen but not using for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended I would stay there again."
