I don’t know French so I use the translation option to communicate and get response quicker. I booked through Expedia. It is better to contact the owner via phone for response. Close to beach. Nice mountain and ocean views!"

"Nous avons passé 7 jours 6 nuits à Katalo Plage. Points forts: emplacement super, à deux pas de la mer et de la plage, tranquille et près de Deshaies. Nous avons aimé le balcon au 2e (très cool) la chambre et la salle de bain au rez de chaussée. Pour la cuisine et la salle d'eau, elle a besoin de rénovations et n'étaient pas très propre (fenêtres surtout). Bien que plusieurs commodités nous ont plu comme le lave linge, la piscine et le lave vaisselle, il faudrait songer à laisser des sacs...

"A notre arrivée, nous avons constaté qu'il n'y avait pas d'eau. Interrogé, le réceptionniste nous a dit que cela faisait trois semaines. Il a dit que si on voulait se laver, on n'avait qu'à le faire dans la piscine. Puis ils nous a donner un pack d'eau. Nous donner un hôtel où il n'y a pas d'eau pour l'hygiène, c'est une honte. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. The large room with sea view was very good and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very good, lunch ok and evening snacks good. The bar shuts at 2200, which is good. There is a lovely beach/forest walk to the next beach. The bus stop is a short walk away with regular buses to Deshaies and other parts of the island. The island is beautiful and easy to get around. "
