A hidden gem in the choices of hotels to choose from in and around Baton Rouge. The hotel was close by the stadium. At the present moment, they are undergoing some upgrades on the outside walls and it looks great. In my opinion, this hotel operates like any 5 star hotel, however, this hotel keeps its nightly rates for stays at a minimum. Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites of Baton Rouge/Port Allen. Room was very clean, comfortable, sound proof walls and free breakfast .Everything and more that you could ask for in a hotel room. We appreciate the free parking these days as this is the one thing that seems hard to find.

This is a great hotel. It’s in a good quiet neighborhood. Everything about it was a 10. Easy check in and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was great from eggs and sausage to waffles toast, fruit and cereal. The breakfast area is one of the nicest I have seen. Will definitely stay here again.

The room serves us well. Bathroom could use some love and attention, the toilet bowl needs some repairs (have to hold the handle up so the water turns off). The toilet paper holder is being held in with a ton of glue on the wallpaper, one good pull and that is bringing the wallpaper down. Shower door needs to be replaced and the shower pan needs either a deep cleaning or needs to re chalked.
