"I have been here a lot over the years and I really enjoy The Fireside! The staff is always kind, I love everything that’s available in the lobby and the rooms are like and clean! I will say that the bottom floor is my least favorite thing, the appliances need to be updated and we did have a noisy neighbor but the women at the front desk did help with that! "

We liked the fact that we were able to do laundry unfortunately they were out of detergent which led to an additional trip to the grocery store which was close by. "This is a lovely gem on the coast with a quiet water view. Staying here and spending the day at Acadia National Park is totally doable. We appreciated the hot cider and cookies in the evenings. The room was clean. There is some highway noise but the A/C fan covered most of it. The pillows on the king bed were way too overstuffed for my liking but that is a personal preference. Overall, great place and highly recommend."

"The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, the hosts were courteous, thoughtful, and kind. The motel is about an eight minute walk to a small park with a cute Pebbly Beach, and the motel is just a short walk into town. The rooms I stayed in had a small refrigerator, coffee makings, and a hair dryer. I very much enjoyed staying there and would like to stay there again."
