"I want to make it clear I enjoyed my stay at the Vurpillat. The room itself was lovely, spacious, and right next to the beach. I did however have a couple qualms about the management of the establishment. When we came to check in there was nobody at the front desk to check us in for the first 30 minutes. "The hotel itself is in a great location. 4-5min drive away from some good eats. But regarding the property itself, the gym is very small. I don’t expect hotel gyms to be big or even adequate for a great workout but if there’s 3 people in there, it’s full. The cardio room is better and has around 8 machines. The shower in my room was probably one of the worst showers I’ve ever had in a hotel. Barely any water pressure, I had to literally bend down directly below the shower head to wash properly. ...

Our room, on the third floor of the “East building,” felt like a beach cottage, with a simple but lovely layout including a deep tub, small kitchenette, fireplace and view of the beach from the sitting room and the balcony.
