"Upon arrival, I would have given 5 stars, because what’s not to love about being right on the beach! Well, what’s not to love is a noisy AC unit that wakes you up from a dead sleep when it turns back on in the middle of the night. That, and the lights were kept on outside the room all night which the curtains do not block out entirely. One final note - there were lots of noisy car races throughout the night, which, if the AC unit had the ability to stay running without going into energy-saving mode, then I think it would have drowned out the background noise. That was not the case. I believe I was in the “Efficiency house” which is to the left of the main property building. I plan to come back because the room was clean and the location can’t be beat, but I will try a different location within the property. If you are able to: 1) turn off the outside lights/get better curtains and 2) Get an AC unit that can run throughout the night to block out uncontrollable outside noises, THEN I would have no problem giving 5 stars!"

"At night time big flies come out if your outside. The spray that they spray in the room as an air freshener is kinda strong. Other than that it was a great stay the price was great especially for 4th of July weekend. It was 20 mins from Atlantic city casinos and boardwalk. My husband and I had a great time."

"Daddy O exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Every staff member made us feel like valued guests, and the little touches—like the fresh cookies—made our stay even more memorable. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The linens were some of the softest we’ve ever slept on, making it easy to relax after a day on Long Beach Island. The entire property felt thoughtfully maintained, stylish, and inviting. We left already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with exceptional service and attention to detail, Daddy O is absolutely worth the stay."

"We love this hotel! The staff is incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating. We had booked two separate reservations due to extending our trip last minute and even though we had to check out and check back in, they made the process as easy as possible. Great views, clean, nice amenities and so reasonably priced for being right on the beach. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms were narrow and no space for putting clothes away. The restaurant was good and definitely liked free chairs for the beach, free bikes and boogie boards. The outdoor pool was small and for us we went to the beach which was very nice and convenient. The restaurant was good with a nice selection."
