"Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. "

"Stunning place , soaked in history was just perfect for what we needed , lovely restaurant and brassiere fully deserves the four Stars they have , the grounds are beautifully manicured just a great place to go and relax. We tried out the Spa not too busy but had everything you needed. There are only a few little niggles if you had to pick something the carpet in our room looked tired but that’s it really. However, the air-conditioning unit, which vented out the window, was less effective during our July visit, causing the room to warm quickly.
