"I stayed at Quinta de São Luís (Vine House) and I have to say, this was hands down the highlight of my entire trip to Portugal. "Poolside seating in the indoor pool was very comfortable. Not sure about the one outside. Hotel is very well located close to everything and very good options for dining. That is no parking available unless you pay $25 a day at the hotel and they will offer valet parking. Overall very nice experience."

"The hotel is not modern but has modern upgrades in the rooms and is right on the waterfront. It is the only property for about 4 km so a car is necessary (also needed for the beaches). The restaurant food is high quality. The staff were helpful and eager but they were understaffed while we were there, so seem rushed all the time. "

"Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread!
