"Lovely quiet location, but only a short taxi ride from the airport or tuk tuk away from the world heritage Panaji town. The hotel & our room were like a little oasis of calm in an otherwise frenetic area. There’s also an excellent pool, tennis court, well equipped gym & archery available. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food, but don’t let that put you off as it was excellent quality, with large portions & drinks were reasonably priced. Finally all the staff we encountered were lovely & friendly but a special mention goes to Michele on reception for going above & beyond to welcome & look after us. Many thanks to the whole team for a memorable couple of days."

"The pictures on the website do not tell the full story. The road ends 20 meters before the property, so prepare to wheel bags and walk across wet red clay. When we arrived the room reeked of cigarettes. They said they were fully booked and could not move us, but I could book a room still online, so they lied about that. The pool was drained and being repaired, but no mention of this anywhere before booking. Getting a chair to the lawn was hassle. There was only one restaurant, the bar was not open. No massage or spa service available during our stay. The local cab mafia makes it so expensive to go anywhere, and this place is far enough out of the way you need to use a car to go anywhere. The nature trail is a joke, maybe 10 meters of dirt. Most of the rooms just face the wall of the next building and do not have a view or sunlight. Management does not respond to WhatsApp or email. The difference between what is advertised and what is available has left us very disappointed, I suggest you stay away."

"On our way back to Pune from Goa via Doodhsagar falls, we decided to take a break in between and Belagavi seemed to be the right city for that. ITC Welcome hotel is little outside of the city center, but a fantastic 5 star property with an impressive lobby and restaurant. Spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable room with nice balcony and mountain view with the windmills. Hotel provided extra mattress which was also very comfortable. Bathroom was huge and relaxing. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Housekeeping provided whatever needed including extra waterbottles. Breakfast wa a standout with an exhaustive spread. Chef Vineet and team were on the toes to ensure a pleasant service. Nice clean pool though water was cold and a large gym which we enjoyed. Ample parking inside the property. Family loved the overall stay. Will definitely stay again enroute future trips to Goa and beyond. Only challenge was that there are no nice restaurants nearby however Hotel allowed food delivery apps to deliver food. Also there are no accomodation for the driver however, we were fortunate to find a small lodge on the main road about a km away. Ps. Belagavi has a old Belagavi fort with an ancient 12th century Jain temple and other temples. "
