Good stay

This was a lovely hotel with a restaurant on site where we had dinner both nights. We loved the breakfast. Parking was limited and approx $20 aud per night. Only complaint was that WIFI didn’t work in our room but outside room ok. I wouldn’t rush back to Belgrade - dirty and uninspiring

The staff were very friendly, the room was warm and clean, as well as just enough room for me to live out of for 3 nights. The breakfast was nothing amazing but was enough for me each morning to have a few pastries, coffee and oranage juice to get me going (there were cooked items too which were nice when I had them). I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belgrade.

Good budget central stay

Hotel was well located for transport and opposite the old railway station. Despite a late (3am) arrival, staff were still avaliable to greet us. We were given a free upgrade however the room we were on looked out onto the main road and the doors didn’t close properly, meaning we were disturbed by traffic noise. Breakfast was excellent, as were toiletries avaliable in the room.

Everything were perfect!

I stayed here when I visited Belgrade for Rammstein concert. People were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big enough and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I was very satisfied and I recommend it!

I have been for 2 nights, solo traveling. I did like very much Maria at the front desk being helpful, friendly, addressing all questions professionally. I did stay in annex. Bed and mattress was comfortable, room was clean. Included Breakfast buffet was average with plenty of choices. Good value for the money. Very good for two night stay. I didn't like: It had only one power outlet available in the room, walls are paper thin but I had good neighbors.

The hotel and its facilities were old and run down. Staff was friendly and helpfull and the only positive. Tiles in bathroom were loose, shower door broken and the hallway smelled.

Perfect Location

The location of the hotel was excellent, and we had no trouble with transportation. The breakfast was buffet-style and had a wide variety, and it was delicious. The rooms were clean. The only negative aspect was that the room doors were old, a bit difficult to open and close, and made a lot of noise. Additionally, during cleaning times, there was too much noise in the corridor, which was disturbing.

Great stay lovely hotel ,nice breakfast One gripe,could someone tell the receptionist that the A1 airport shuttle bus does indeed stop at the bus station opposite the hotel and there was no need for me to walk 15 mins uphill to get on board at Slava square!! But other than that would highly recommend

Belgrade City Hotel is centrally located on Sava Square and is within walking distance of several attractions, eg the new Belgrade Waterfront. It has an old world charm and some appealling touches, eg a front lounge which faces the Square and busy main street with a tram route and yet is quiet. Buffet breakfast was good, though not outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was always clean and wel serviced. Unfortunately I was in the annex, which was rated three star, while the main hotel is four star. So there was no lift, which made hauling my case upstairs and downstairs into a real chore. And, unbelievably, there were no numbers on the room doors. So I had to seek help to find my room.

Good value option close to the bus station

If you need a hotel close to the bus station with good value, this is it. The economy room has a good size, even for two people. They have complete basic amenities, also with coffee/tea and kettle. Wifi was working well. There is also a little fridge. The hotel indeed looks very old, but it is not an issue for me. The 'minus' thing is the cleanliness: there was a bundle of hair on my bed when I came in, so not so convincing but I was too tired to complain or anything. The restaurant for the breakfast has a strong cigarette smoke smell, even through smoking is not allowed inside.
