"We had what we paid for. Very small room but also very small price. Beds were comfy and the room was air conditioned which was very appreciated during the heat wave. The check in staff was courteous and helpful. And the location was excellent for us. 10 minutes to old Lyon via subway, and walking distance to part-dieu to take the tram to the airport."

"We stayed here for 2 nights before catching our train at the station next door. It was perfect for that reason. It was also close to a mall that had decent restaurants to choose from. Room was obviously an old building, but it was updated with paint and comfortable chairs. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean and the room was quiet. Although the hotel had a restaurant the rooms only had paper cups for hot drinks in the room, which seemed a bit odd. It worked though. With extremely hot...

"We had a very friendly welcome. Really liked the bar/club area where you can help yourself to hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks. It provided welcome refuge in the heat. On an evening staff come round taking orders for drinks /aperitifs. We booked a premium room with amazing views across the river to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The mattress was comfy. "In the middle of renovations but workmen were courteous and noise wasn’t an issue. Two young women on the front desk were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent."

"We stayed here during the heat wave in June because the hotel had AC and a pool. The room was small, but nice and cool. The pool needs maintenance, but was a nice respite from the heat. Overall a nice property and good price. Location is close to the confluence museum, but not much else. We took the tram and metro to get to the main part of the city."

"Lovely hotel but the air conditioning was extremely weak in our room. We spent two nights sweating and very uncomfortable. However, the location was perfect for us being right next to the station; we also ate at the restaurant and the food was wonderful."

"The lack of aircon is made much worse by hot air in the building. generally. The bedroom was too hot to sleep . The fan in high temps simply moves hot air around, inadequate to cope with summer heat."
