"Pool area is a work of art beautifully blended into the surrounding rainforest, bar area and reception area were modern stylish and clean. Food is overpriced and the menu is not particularly adventurous, the limited choice of smoothies available was disappointing. And the coffee was alittle bland . Pleasingly there is a wide range of wildlife at the hotel.....red eye frogs and green iguanas to name a few, and even crocodiles in a lagoon about 5 minutes away. In summary this hotel has...

"Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!"

"If you want to be right in the middle of nature and wildlife this is the place to go. Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. The included hikes and birdwatching were wonderful with very knowledgeable and passionate guides. "Husband and I are here on last leg of a birding trip. This is one of 10 of places we have stayed, and is our favorite ecolodge. Lots of birds on the property, and stay includes a complementary bird tour on-site. We did all meals food plan; meals are basic, made with fresh ingredients and full portions. Spacious rooms have nice views of adjacent jungle."

"Walkway from room to restaurant is very steep, uneven and without bars or rails. It a little dangerous for seniors. The food however is absolutely amazing. Franklin is great, helpful and friendly.
