"The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and inviting. The coffee, tea and water were much appreciated. I like that the fridge was cold. It was a quick walk to our concert at the Grand and nice drive to Longwood Gardens. We especially like the breakfast, plentiful and delicious. The waffle maker is a big hit."

The hotel said they would be fine with refunding me the second night and I should call Expedia as it was you I booked through. Try as might I could not get through your AI assisted customer service as my questions did not align with your preordained question selection. "The history & energy of the staff. The bedrooms were large and the bathrooms nicely equipped. The decor could be updated from the 1980s. Our love seat cushion was backwards- when I flipped it to fix it, it was ripped. Besides some updating, we enjoyed our space & the barn common space was fabulous! We enjoyed playing games by the fire. We also enjoyed Sunday Brunch -- our server LT, was lovely. "

However, there was a trick to get enough hot water, since they did not want to scald a handicap person,... i never did figure it out. hotel offered to send someone, but we were leaving next day."
