"Friendly staff Good breakfast Stairs may be a problem if elderly .Found shower cubicle to be difficult to get in and out also no non slip surface in shower which made it a bit dangerous getting out"

"Location is great for us. We stayed in Room 3 in the courtyard as we had a small dog with us and they are not allowed in the Main Hotel rooms. We have stayed in this room before - its an excellent size but on the first floor. It seems to have been modernised from when we were last there which was nice. We didn't have breakfast or evening meal there as it is "hotel prices". Within walking distance of the hotel is one of the best pubs in Derbyshire - The Hollybush Inn - great beer and grub."
