"There is no front desk/reception. This wasn't a problem, but you'll need to call or WhatsApp in advance to get the key code for your room entry. No big deal. Good location, good sized room, strong air conditioning. Very little soundproofing between rooms, so you'll be reliant on the other guests being polite and respectful. Low water pressure. Overall not perfect but fine for the price!"

"Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms...

"The Punta cana airport is one hour away from La Romana. We took a cruise out of La Romana . The Hilton Garden Inn La Romana is beautiful but the staff is extremely slow. The buffet breakfast is just so-so. Food and drinks are expensive if you aren’t doing the all-inclusive."

"The property itself is beautiful, just it is no worthy enough for the price, check in was kind bumpy I wasn’t informed of the facilities of the place, my sheet was kind dirty when I get to my room there was a cockroach in the room, after 7:pm there is no one around the front desk than can help you, overall stay was okay because we loved the view and the pools are amazing. "All rooms that were booked through expedia were double booked.No rooms were available. No one spoke english at the counter, which made it very difficult to sort out. Went to another hotel and expedia will not refund my money as hotel will not return their communication "
