This hotel needs some maintenance. Not totally bad but outside pool was not working, shower needed repairs. Coffee for one person in the room.

RenovationsbedĂŒrftig und in die Jahre gekommen. Im Bad waren Spinnenweben und RĂŒckstĂ€nde des vorherigen Gastes. Der Pool war grĂŒn und nicht benutzbar. Die Lage direkt am See ist schön, jedoch Parkplatz dazwischen. Highlight war das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet.

“Nice location, but sleep in the car instead”

Headline is a paraphrase from a review we found on Google, unfortunately after we had already checked in
 I spent some time researching if this hotel was used as a retirement home while it was owned by Bengtsfors kommun, but nothing came up. Still, that’s my hunch. Our room featured a bathroom that was decades old with all the signs of having been used in some form of healthcare capacity. A worn and semi-broken toilet for disabled use, a shower setup that can house a wheelchair, and even a sign on the door with county council feeling printing stating it is, indeed, the toilet and shower. The rest of the room was worn, incredibly warm, and not very inviting. But kudos to the hotel for providing us with a small desk fan, probably of Chinese make, maybe from a company with ties to the current owner? The hallway was eerily reminiscent of ‘The Shining’, I felt almost sure I would bump into a couple of twins inviting me to come play with them when turning a corner. Not to mention the laundry chutes and very old service elevators. The pool, needless to say, was closed during our stay. A blessing in disguise because while this gravely disappointed my daughter, I dread to think of what she might have caught had it been open. No staff was around from 6pm on the Sunday we arrived, instead guests arriving later had to pick up their room keys from a table in the lobby. Names displayed in a not-so-GDPR-friendly fashion. Breakfast, served until 9am sharp, was at least ok.

Dette bidro til at vÄrt opphold ikke var som forventet/Þnsket: - Hotellets basseng var stengt for rensing 2 dÞgn. - I beskrivelsen pÄ Hotel.com sto det at hotellet hadde treningsrom. Treningsrommet hadde vÊrt stengt siden januar 2025. - rommet var dÄrlig rengjort, bl.a stÞvete pÄ overflater og tannglass med tannkremrester. -kaffe var tilgjengelig i lobbyen, men sjelden kaffekopper. Samtidig god og delikat frokost. Fint Ä kunne sitte ute og spise. Gode parkeringsmuligheter-ogsÄ for elbil.

Trevlig vistelse, smidig service.

Mycket nöjda med det mesta. Poolens temperatur styrs av vÀder och vind, sÄlunda kall ibland. Ordentliga solstolar saknas. De som finns Àr i hÄrdplast och man sitter upp i 90 grader. Fantastiskt bekvÀm sÀng! Trevlig personal och underbar frukost.

Stopped specifically for the DVVJ bike trolley expirience, which was at walking distance. Restaurant in the hotel itself was acceptable on prices tho had a limited menu (which isn't a bad point as this does allow for quality) which had some variety allowing different tastes. Bit weird that the hotel was not manned during the night (and the bar closed during that same bracket). One downside was that the room was somewhat warmer than desired during the night and no climate control was available, beyond a desk-fan to atleast circulate the air.

Prima hotel . Schoon goede bedden .lekkere douche. Beetje gedateerd. Top ontbijt. Goede parkeergelegenheid. Wel gauw warm in de kamer. Raam kan een beetje open..als je aan de wegkant slaapt komt er nog wel wat verkeer langs. Maar verder een prima hotel . Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam .

Rum lÄg i sollÀge och omöjligt att kyla ner. Var tvungen att ha fönster helt öppna vilket resulterade i oljud frÄn EPA-dunk hela natten. Inget gym och stort renoveringsbehov. Restaurangen försök till gourmetmat var ganska misslyckat. Personalen var trevliga och serviceinriktade.

Ett slitet hotell med stora fina rum med bra sÀngar. DÄ solen lÄg pÄ uteserveringen bad jag dem fÀlla ur markiserna. Gick ej de var trasiga! I rum 204 fanns 2 fönster som gick att öppna ena öppnades mycket och man höll pÄ att ramla ut för att nÄ habragwt för att stÀnga Fanns en hiss för rörelsehindrade. Vid nerfart uppstod ett kraftigt ljud som hördes i hela omgivningen. Otrevligt.

I förhĂ„llande till prisnivĂ„ var allt vĂ€ldigt bra. Fin 60-talsdesign bevarad. Den enda stora besvikelsen var det ”fullt utrustade gymmet” som man enligt marknadsföringen pĂ„stod sig ha. Det visade bestĂ„ av tvĂ„ mycket enkla motionsmaskiner (för hemmabruk) samt tre par alltför lĂ€tta hantlar. Jag hade med mig en vĂ€ska med trĂ€ningsklĂ€der och hade sett fram mot ett rejĂ€lt trĂ€ningspass, men det blev förstĂ„s ingenting. Maten var mycket bĂ€ttre Ă€n tidigare recensioner gjort gĂ€llande. FrukostbuffĂ©n var utmĂ€rkt.
