"I had a lovely stay although not a front facing room unfortunately but a peaceful wooded view. Enthusiastic staff eager to renovate and get the hotel back up to scratch but a quirky and charming place, full of authenticity and character. "Arrived one and a half hours early and asked a bearded guy if there was any chance of getting in to the room, his response was just no. No checking to see what rooms had been done just no! Not a great welcome. However the lady that did everything at breakfast was fantastic so credit to her!"
