"Room very clean. Staff friendly and helpful."

"Clean and spacious room. The mattresses are okay. Room-reception distance is pretty far and no help with the luggage or when they forget to put the amenities; you have to get it yourself. There is a shuttle service 3x in 2 hours. Good restaurant in the hotel."

"Stylish, clean and beautiful hotel. Consider more frequent or additional shuttle bus to and from the airport. I could not get on the shuttle from the hotel to the airport coz it was too full. I had to take an Uber.."

"Be wary of staying on level 5 in summer as the air conditioning is not good. The room was warm and made for an uncomfortable to sleep. The room is also small and barely fits 2 suitcases and hand luggage. This is a smart room with an iPad in the room that lets you operate everything such as blinds, lights, air con. Some parts are excellent with others not good. The breakfast meal and downstairs area is excellent."

"The bedding, a huge duvet, was heavy and very hot for sleeping in a room with barely adequate air conditioning. The dense foam mattress only added to the heating. Ended up tearing the duvet apart and sleeping under the duvet cover. The main restaurant was closed for the summer (except for breakfast?) in an area with no nearby restaurants, The bar and grill was okay. The glass, swing door for the bathroom lacked privacy. The breakfast buffet was huge and good but very expensive."

"Great hotel if you are living near the airport. They offer free shuttle service which is great. Overall good deal for the money you pay which is not too much. Breakfast buffet was decent too"

"The biggest problem was our booking information or the hotel did not input it as when we arrived they had no information on us Lucky we had our receipt. They managed to give us a room with some adjusting. Staff were excellent - room needed some attention"

"Nice property, helpful staff, quick check-in. Good bar and restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to stay here."

"Mooie, ruime en schone kamer met goede badkamer. Balkon van mijn kamer had uitzicht op een binnentuin met water. Korte afstand met de auto naar Leiden. Ontbijt was redelijk goed, maar heb betere bij andere van der Valk gehad voor tevens een betere prijs."

"We love staying at the Leeuwenhorst. It has a lot to offer. Free parking, it has beautiful woods behind the hotel for exercise and walks. The breakfast buffet has tons of good breakfast options. The sauna and gym is great to have on-site. It is located close to Noordwijk aan Zee."

"This hotel did not vibe with me. It felt too pretentious on arrival and hence ruined my Friday night. After making the mistake of not sitting down at a table for breakfast to order coffee the first morning, no one would take my order for this and an omelette that the table menu offered the second morning."
