"Excellent location"

"The photos all show sunny rooms with large windows. For the same price we were put in a dark room in the basement where the air felt stale and the windows were only big enough to see the feet of people walking by and the tires of cars driving by. We asked to be put in a different room but were told the hotel was full. Later that night I checked online and found that was not true. The online site showed there was a room available but it was bigger and more expensive than the one we reserved. It...

"Great location and great breakfast"

"The hotel is very nice and very well appointed. The rooms are nice although the bathrooms are on the small side. The breakfast was excellent, and tea and coffee were available throughout the day and evening in the lounge area. The staff were very helpful and recommended various restaurants for us. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Bergen and would hope to stay in the Thon Orion again."

"There was no staff to be helpful, and there were carts all over the floors filled with linens (I have never seen that in a hotel before). The carts were there all hours of the day."

"Zimmer sollte zu spät gereinigt werden (nach 17 Uhr, da waren wir schon wieder auf dem Zimmer und benötigten es). Nur ein kleines Dachfenster, Zimmer war viel zu dunkel und das bei der Superior Class. Das Bett viel zu niedrig. Insgesamt paßt Preis-Leistung nicht."

"Loved the hotel charm and the location. Heat was not working properly and we got locked into our room. No phone in the room so had to call from outside line. Good thing there wasn’t a fire. Also bar downstairs is loud and goes ‘til late at night"

They take breakfast seriously here, and one of my lowkey favorite memories of the trip was starting each day with a fantastic Norwegian breakfast spread and a view of Mount Fløyen."

"Location was excellent, walking distance to everything! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived to find no towels in my room, and the front desk staff immediately found me some. The room was small but comfortable. Shower was small and not completely enclosed so water got everywhere and bathmat was completely soaked"
