The property is located in the heart of Bergen. A few minutes to walk to all the main tourist attractions. The size of the condo was just right for 2 to 3 people. The kitchen had the necessary kitchenware to make food and enjoy being inside when it was raining. I would recommend it to anyone who is traveling for business or leisure or staying in Bergen for more than a week. The stairs are kind of small but other than that I really liked this place.

Not as pictured, no lamps or light in the single room apartment, it was completely dark in there, and if I didn’t have a flashlight, I wouldn’t have been able to take photos and video of the poor condition of the apartment. Top floor, which was fine, but the stairs are spiral and dangerous with no fire escape or any way to get out other than down the spiral staircase if an emergency happened. Could not stay there and left quickly to stay in a hotel, but owners would not refund my two nights paid for even though I contacted them immediately asking where the light switch was, which they didn’t know, and telling them there were no lamps and no curtains on two of the three windows and asking where the curtains were to that which they said the windows were not made for curtains (the windows were made over 100 years ago when the house was). Owners asked for proof of the condition of the apartment and after sending video and photographs of the condition of the apartment, they stopped corresponding with me and would not refund my two nights paid for. Do not stay here unless you are allowed to check out which unit they’re giving you beforehand and checking for problems with it. Expedia not much better in helping, but they tried a little bit.

Good Location, but Not Built for Rest or Luggage Pros: * Central Location: * In-Room Kitchen: Cons: * Extreme Stair Access: There is no elevator, and the stairs are exceptionally narrow and arranged in a steep, tight spiral pattern. Hauling heavy luggage up and down is genuinely hazardous and exhausting. * Severe Light Pollution (Lack of Curtains): There are no proper curtains or blinds on the windows right next to the bed. Given that daylight in Norway stretches for nearly 18 hours during peak season, sleeping is nearly impossible without waking up at the crack of dawn. * Pictures in listing are deceptive. This is very small room with just one light lamp. You keep it on bed side or kitchen side. * Poor management: 1. clearly asked for the ironing board but they didn’t provided even after requesting again. 2. Asked to provide some dark color towels to use as curtains but they didn’t provided.
