"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "

"We loved having a whole house to ourselves, complete with a mostly full kitchen! We felt safe and secure because of the gated entrance. Having the office closed at 5:00 most days was a bit challenging at times as we were often touring during the day and had questions in the evening. But when we were able to ask our questions, they were very helpful!"

Good airconditioning although the breeze off the North Sea was generally enough to keep the place cool. We had a massive thunderstorm while we were there so had to shut all the windows so the AC got a work out then. All staff were informative and helpful. The location is perfect to access all areas of Amsterdam, you have a great transport system on your doorstep and with a travel card you can explore lots of lovely places.
