"Hotel Italia is welcoming and comfortable. It is conveniently located a short distance from the railway station (which is connected to street level by ten escalators and relatively easy to access with luggage if they're all working). The included breakfast buffet offered a great array of tempting options. The centre of the city with all the main tourist sights is only a twenty to thirty minute walk away through very picturesque streets."

"Really nice hotel, rooms are ok, not much space to put your clothes, no draws ect. No complinmentry water have to pay. Lovely views, and the pool was lovely. The shuttle bus runs from the hotel latest time back from San gingimano was 16.40, other wise you'll have to drive! So no drinking. Very remote an unber would cost you 77 euros one way to san gingimano! Its only 10mins away! Good service amd bed was comfy. Restaurant was ok not the best could be better. Breakfast was nice, but no fresh fruit to take away with you like bananas ect"

"The hotel and grounds were beautiful, however we weren’t aware there were multiple buildings on the property and were given a dark room on the ground floor of a back building. We had also booked the junior suite but our room, while large, did not have a couch as described."

"Front desk was very nice! Complementary water and flip flops were given upon arrival. Overall the grounds were well maintained but the pool was dirty ( no cover on pool/ or pool boy to clean out every couple hours). Pool is right next to a main road covered up by some bushes but you can hear the cars zipping by. Rooms were nice. Breakfast had a great variety of food. Onsite dinner was okay nothing special."
