As long as you know that this is not a hotel in the traditional sense you will be ok. I would have liked to have coffee/tea making available. even a small kitchen would be good. They do a simple breakfast (which was very nice) but you have to drive into the nearby villages for a proper meal.

Tolles Ambiente

Ein sehr netter Aufenthalt in einendem aussergewöhnlichen Ambiente. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit toller Ausstattung. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Bett ist auch sehr bequem für einen erholsamen Schlaf.

Sehr ruhig gelegen

Das Zimmer war eine Mischung aus Moderne und Schlichtheit und hat so den Charakter des Klosters bewahrt. Ein Bibeltext und ein Kreuz an der Wand, sowie eine ausliegende Bibel haben ihres dazugetan. Das Zimmer befand sich im Nebengebäude und war eines der teureren. Vermutlich waren dort früher die Bischöfe und Kardinäle untergebracht! Sehr bequeme Matratze! Sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war okay. Alles was man braucht. Allerdings verstehe ich einfach nicht, warum viele Hotels keine frischen Eier mehr für das Rührei aufschlagen können! Das Rührei war grisselig. Entweder Vollei aus dem Tetra-Pack oder gar aus Pulver hergestellt. Das kann nur das Hotel beantworten. Brötchen waren vom Bäcker, was heute auch nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Liebe Hoteliers, nehmt doch 2 € mehr fürs Frühstück und holt die Wurst beim Metzger, Brötchen beim Bäcker und macht ein vernünftiges Rührei, so wie es eure Großmutter gemacht hat!!!

Wirklich wunderschön hier!

Super schöne Zimmer (besonders das Franziskus-Zimmer), stylisches Badezimmer, bequeme Matratzen, ruhig, Fliegengitter vor dem Fenster. Leider gibt es auf dem Flur zum Bad einen Bewegungsmelder, so daß es in der Nacht hell wird, wenn man auf die Toilette geht - und die Tür zum Flur hat einen Glaseinsatz, das ist etwas störend. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, aber man wird satt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön zum spazieren gehen. Es gibt im Ort kaum Möglichkeit zum Abend essen. Im Kloster gibt es ein sehr schönes Cafe mit hausgemachtem Kuchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sympathisch....

Mooi gastverblijf met aandacht

We hebben 1 nacht geslapen het gästehaus San Damiano op het kloostercomplex Bonlanden. De kamers zijn ruim en modern ingericht met een knipoog naar klassieke stijl. Vriendelijk personeel met veel oprechte aandacht voor iedereen. Zonder veel poespas, gewoon fijne mensen. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar zeker voldoende en als je wil bakken ze een eitje voor je. Zeker de moeite waard om eens meerdere dagen naar terug te gaan, dan zonder kinderen denk ik.
