Cheap and cheerful accommodation just outside the city centre but close enough to walk in within 15-20 minutes.
I got a private room with a bathroom which wasn’t the best, but it was clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pillow had seen much better days. I ended up using my coat and stuffing it inside the pillow case just to plump it up. There is no kettle inside either.
The walls in the room are in need of redecorating due to a lot of scratch marks from suitcases and general wear and tear, given how busy it is, but you get what you pay for… it is cheap for a reason. Great location if you are not overly fussed about where you are staying on a budget city break and just want to use it to get some sleep. If you’re looking for something more upmarket, I’d look elsewhere.
There is a bar at the front which is decent, showing sports and has cheap food available such as hot dogs, pizza and fries. There is also a table football and pool table if that’s your thing.
For the price I expected exactly what I got and wasn’t overly fussed apart from the comfort of the bed and the pillow being quite poor.
