Decent stay in a nice neighbourhood of Bern. Room was clean, however noisy constructions were happening which disturbed our sleep. Room had cool technology but sometimes it got in the way of functionality

The host Ajdin was very helpful and friendly. The room was pretty modern and cozy. There is a parking garage but it is a bit narrow for bigger vehicles. Also there is street parking. if you dont have Twint or CHF coins, you can use Easy park app. overall it was a pleasant stay! ☺️

You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows. Room was good though there were some minor finishing touches.

Evi's Home 25 - 27 October
We had a fabulous time at Evi's Home. From the moment Evi greeted us and showed us to our apartment to the moment we left, we had a lovely stay in Bern. Evi couldn't have been more welcoming and is clearly proud of her city, taking her time to recommend things to do and see during our stay.

Hi Monica, the Bern Wankdorf is maybe the moste expensive part of Bern. But it's a business part. And we have no carpets on the halls ;-)

Modern and convenient
Talk about comfort and conveniences! This apartment had all of the latest technology gadgets, was conveniently located to public transportation and a helpful and friendly host that introduced us to it.

I hope you like trains
I would highly recommend bringing sleeping earplugs or buy them in the city like I did. The trains are running constantly and makes a lot of sound. The room is getting hot with the windows closed even with the small portable aircon running (we were there in late September). The room itself was nice and clean when we checked in but during our stay there was no cleaning or anything. We saw cleaning personnel in the building, but no one came to our room. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen solution smart and it was even a modern toilet that could clean and dry you after you had done your business. And with google translate we could figure out the Chinese instructions on some of the gadgets.

City tax collected at the property was bit too expensive and also have to change 2 buses to get to the hotel from neufeld bus centre. Had a good use of the kitchen utensils and the stove top.

Advertised and chose because of air conditioning. Had to find another place to go which cost $$$. They did give me an immediate refund which helped.

Zimmer doppelt abgerechnet, sehr warm
Das Gebäude ist von außen eher naja, die Zimmer allerdings top modern und sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab 2 große Mankos: 1. Der komplette Zimmerpreis wurde mir doppelt belastet und dies war dem Hotel nicht mal aufgefallen. Auf meine Reklamation gab es umgehend eine Rückbuchung, wenn auch keine Entschuldigung. Ich will keine Absicht unterstellen, aber jeder sollte noch mal nachschauen, was man hier bezahlt hat. Zudem scheint die Kommunikation über die hiesige Plattform nicht einwandfrei zu funktionieren. 2. Hitze: Wer während der warmen Tage anreist, sollte sich dies gut überlegen. Abends noch 27 Grad im Zimmer und es gibt nur wenig Durchzug. Der Luftkühler (Verdunstungskälte) ist eher ein Design-Accessoire, kühlt den Raum aber natürlich nicht herunter, wem dies schwerfällt, sollte eher zum Hotel greifen

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Teilweise können Zahlungen nicht einwandfrei Buchungen zugeordnet werden (z.B. bei Paypal-Zahlungen). Daher ist es sicher gut, wenn Sie selbst auch wissen ob Sie schon bezahlt haben.

The property is an old industrial building by the railway tracks that is being converted to a hotel. Listing claims air conditioning and there is none. Host were great.

Dear Norman, we have in all studios a comfort air solution that is much more efficient then a normal AC and cost also a lot more.But you has hat one of the 10 days that this is not the best solution. the other 350 days are perfect.
