"The entire staff is wonderful, gracious and so helpful. The location is excellent if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway, far from the large resorts. Old Fort Bay Club is beautiful, situated on a stunning beach without crowds of people. Very good food (we preferred the Italian restaurant over the Asian). Gym is very good and the pool is decently sized for those who like to swim laps. Room and bathroom are clean and spacious. The only thing missing is mini fridge."

"Really helpful staff. Great free coffee. Little water in room. Great A/C and comfy bed. Big minus was pool being out of action, not told and we planned on using that for a day. Also quite far from town center but handy for airport. "

"Staff is nice and property is well maintained. Now for everything else 1) The worst shuttle services I have ever experienced. The shuttle was almost 2 hours late, and I think they only came because my mom called them (my cell service was not working so I was unable to call). This made me feel very unsafe and anxious as a solo female traveler. Book a private shuttle through viator or arrange for a taxi but NEVER through this hotel. They offered no compensation or anything for this. Terrible. 2) My room did not have a do not disturb placard like the other rooms, which normally wouldn't be a problem BUT the cleaning staff kept taking my towels that were HANGING UP when they were only supposed to take towels on the ground. Then I had to request new towels each time which took 1-2 HOURS. The towels were always warm so I am guessing the hotel does not have enough towels, so they have wash them before they can replace any of them. 3) There is a shack near the pool the serves snacks and drinks that is supposed to open until 7 pm. It's not advertised but they stop serving food at 5 pm. Luckily the kind staff still made me food after 5 pm. HOWEVER, when there was a change in staff, no one was there after 4 pm and it was randomly closed at 5 pm. Nearby restaurants charge like 33% more for already overpriced drinks. 4) My room partially flooded after a storm and it took about an hour for the staff to start cleaning and an hour to finish. Couldn't sleep in or relax like I planned."

"Our stay at the Island Garden Hotel was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant and pool were a great addition. Our room was quite small and basic but still nice to say the least."

"Fantastic location with easy access to the clear water beach with minimal crowds. The room was clean and spacious and good food options around. I'd highly recommend this place for any solo or group travel! The only small issue was a dog in one of the units, I think having a loose dog charge at visitors can be uncomfortable."

"These pleasant, self-contained units are ideal for a short stay when you need to be near the airport - literally 5 minutes away. The air con was very good full-size fridge freezer was a huge bonus. The taps in our unit were fitted the wrong way around! Check in was quick and easy with the friendly host. The bar/restaurant didn't seem to be open while we were there and there was no indication of when it would be. The pool needed cleaning but we were only there for 2 nights so it didn't affect us. Reasonably priced for the island, which is generally expensive! "
