Had a fantastic stay at DoubleTree in Gaithersburg. Front desk was welcoming and the warm cookie at check-in was a nice touch. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Plenty of parking and easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff was attentive and helpful throughout the stay. I would book here again soon.

The room and everything associated including check-in and check-out were impeccable....but there were some issues with the property that really impacted my stay. The first of these was the fact that the WiFi was out two days and flaky the third....I was there for business and this really caused me some issues to the point that i ended up going to a nearby hotel and using theirs. The second thing was two of the three elevators were down, yes they called someone out to work on them and got them fixed but having a hotel with probably 400 rooms funnel through one small elevator especially since there were several high school college teams there so lots of young people....only one elevator. Otherwise the location is actually great...plenty of parking, easy to find...can get across I-270 leaving back way from parking lot instead of dropping into traffick
