"The staff and volunteer wardens work so hard to meticulously maintain this beautiful guest house that once served British soldiers during WWI. They also provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast featuring locally made pastries each morning. I hope to return to Talbot House soon. "We loved this place. It was a cozy room in an old walk up, with lots of character. George is also an amazing chef and runs the restaurant underneath. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Check in was contactless and easy, with clear instructions. Wish all are accommodations were as great as this one. Walkable to the Citadel, shops, restaurants. George also created a handout with recommendations for other local shops/restaurants that are worth visiting. Would definitely book...
