"Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. "Ideal place small family. We used it as a place near to Alton towers which is only a 10-15 min drive. A lovely setting very relaxing. There is everything you need for a short stay. Room for improvement.. but don’t most places? Would go back again"

"Poor service upon arrive from girl on reception’s She had wandered off to the bar to chat. Leaving my elderley parents waiting at reception, calling the hotel and unable to check in until they went to find her. They reported she was rude and unhelpful. Room was good, comfy beds and nice area. "
