"The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"Lovely, intimate, excellent space. What a cute inn to start our trip in Germany. Absolutely loved the town of Baiersbronn and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. "Our stay was three days, the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The pool and spa areas were superb, and having Black Forest Gateaux with a pot of tea by the pool was not something we expected to be able to do - but very memorable. The breakfast was epic, it’s plain to see how very proud the chefs are, and this is reflected in the quality and range of breakfast items available. We had guest e bikes (at no charge) we explored the local forest area, this made the hills very easy to navigate - the bikes were of excellent quality. "
