"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. The whole experience was great—the location is prime for Staunton’s downtown, the common areas of the house were well appointed and well stocked with various treats, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and they are very thoughtful about providing what you need to have a great stay.

"While the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information.
There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).

"Just park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood. We decided to stay an extra day, the communication was quick & done. We are already talking about coming back in spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Book this, you’ll love your stay :)"

"Loved the outside patio area with fire ring. Very nice and relaxing. Gym good for hotel. Pool clean, but on the small side. Quiet clean room, didn't get woken up once with noise.
