Our stay was amazing. Property has everything you could need! Restaurants, shops, bar. The spa is wonderful after a long day. We would definitely stay here again clean, king room beautiful with fireplace!
We did a last minute stay on our way through and couldn’t have been happier with this place. The staff were so accommodating and nice. The amenities and views from the spa were incredible. The room was perfect.
This is an excellent establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff is friendly. The restaurants are excellent. Our family will certainly return.
Everything about our stay was perfect with one exception - very thin walls! The noise from the room next door, just normal talking and opening and closing of doors, was very loud. All staff were very friendly and helpful - Timothy, Abby, and Grace in particular. The Carabiner restaurant/bar was excellent. Excellent value for the room rate too.
Everything except the food...by the time it reached the table it was cold....as the kitchen is far away from the dining room and wait people have a long way to bring it to you! I loved everything but I recommend the dining room/kitchen configuration be changed.
WE will retrun as the room is clean, the staff go out of their way and the Spa The Refuge is fabulous!!
Great hotel beautifully decorated. Location is perfect. One bedroom has all of the amenities needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was absolutely amazing. You were in the heart of the mountain. They gave us valet for our anniversary and valet greeted us every day like we were coming home. The room was so big with a full size shower, full kitchen, living room and full size closet. The pool was the icing on top. It was open all day and helped you relax every day in the mountain air. It was 30 minutes from hikes, 60 minutes from Yellowstone, and 30 minutes from Bozeman. You have to stay here. So amazing.
Awesome resort with the largest outdoor hot tub I have ever seen. The spa/wet area alone makes this place worth it. Great location!! Right at the bottom of Swift Current lift for summer & winter access. Clean, updated, nice room with everything we needed for a 5 star stay!! Nice view of the ski hill.
Only downside is parking. You will have to park 5-10 minute walk away from the resort unless you want to pay $52 a night for valet. We dropped our stuff at the hotel & then parked/walked for the free parking. Staff is exceptional. I will say it's worth it for the location & amenities!
This is my happy place - this resort has all extra thoughtful touches that keep me coming back year after year! Turn down service with local caramels, the outdoor hut tub with breathtaking views, hot apple cider in the lobby and fully equipped rooms with everything you could want for. And huckleberry on top - the staff are the literal best!

Very nice facility, great location , very friendly staff We had a great time and we are definitely coming back
I was looking to minimize the about of schlepping on our ski trip. The Summit was the most convenient hotel we have ever stayed in slopeside.
We could come down for breakfast ready to ski and the ski valet (right outside the door) would place our skis at the lift.
The car valets/bellmen were also wonderful and super helpful. Room was spacious and had a full kitchen.
Would highly recommend and will be back!!
Property is situated in a great location. Close to everything, but off to left side looking up the mountain. So great views but also quiet, even if a rave in the plaza.
Staff was extremely friendly and always ready to answer a question.
The heated pool and spa was great after a day of skiing.
Lack of snow an issue, but the mountain team made an exceptional effort to prepare the slopes. Even with conditions changing hourly, we had a great time skiing.
I understand that The Summit is considered one of the best hotels in the area, which is why I was particularly surprised and disappointed by our experience.
Unfortunately, the mattress in our room was probably the worst I have ever slept on. I was unable to get a decent night’s sleep during our entire stay, which significantly affected our experience.
I brought the issue to the attention of the hotel staff, but I was disappointed by the lack of concern or willingness to address it. I asked whether we could be moved to another room, but I was told that all of the mattresses in the hotel were the same. The staff also acknowledged that they had received complaints from other guests about the mattresses in the past.
I did not want to make a scene during our stay, but I honestly feel that some form of compensation or refund would be appropriate. When staying at a hotel, I believe the most basic expectations are a clean room and a comfortable bed where you can get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the bed at The Summit did not meet that basic expectation.
Given the hotel's reputation and the price of the stay, I expected much better.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend The Summit to other travelers.
Amazing place. Ski in Ski Out. The staff is super friendly. The Bell desk “Cowboys” are wonderful, will take you where you need to go. The Spa is lovely with the giant hot tub and the Sauna. The restaurant is lovely and the food is delicious. Will be back!!
